Victoria Valeri, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker & Lead Intake Coordinator
Victoria is an independently licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) with an extensive background in psychotherapy and the behavioral health intake process, who received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Simmons University. She has worked with individuals of all ages, and prior to joining BNBA, was the lead social worker for five years at the Heywood Hospital Partial Hospital Program. After initially joining the BNBA team as an individual therapist, she then transitioned into a therapeutic intake role, which allows her the opportunity to be the first provider with whom patients meet, upon embarking on services with BNBA. Victoria values this role greatly as she is honored to be involved in providing a trusting and non-judgemental atmosphere in which clients can share their backgrounds and concerns, as well as voice their treatment goals.
Victoria’s goal at BNBA is to continue to utilize her clinical background, knowledge, and empathy during the intake process, to create a comforting and reassuring experience for the client, which will also be reflected in the treatment he or she will receive from the gifted BNBA staff, upon initiation of services. One fun fact about Victoria is that she has 3 giant dogs, including two Tibetan Mastiffs, and a Bernese Mountain Dog, all of whom keep her quite busy when she is not meeting with clients!
