Dr. Munir earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Dow Medical College, Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan. After graduation, Dr. Munir relocated to the United States for his patient care training. He completed a residency through Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, followed by another residency at the Boston University Medical Center Hospital in Massachusetts. 

While Dr. Munir specializes in all aspects of psychiatry, including bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), he also has special interests in neurology and sleep medicine. Fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi, Dr. Munir enjoys conversing with patients who may otherwise struggle with language barriers when visiting with physicians.
