Amanda Marte is a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Simmons University. Amanda is trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Attachment Based Therapy (ABT). She is known for creating a safe, warm, inviting and inclusive space that allows for self-exploration and personal growth. She addresses a wide range of issues including PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Major Life Transitions, Attachment/Relationship difficulties, Socioeconomic issues, First-Generation Challenges, and Racial/Cultural Issues.
Amanda's goal is to foster an environment that allows therapy to be an empowering space for clients to increase self-awareness, develop healthier connections and enhance the power within them to become a better version of themselves. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys watching reality tv and eating Reese's Cups!
