Emily Mehta, NP
Emily has over 20 years experience in providing medical care. She began her journey as a healthcare professional working as a registered nurse in various clinical settings- including pediatrics, outpatient dialysis, clinical research, medical surgical, vascular, neuro, and stroke. Emily has always enjoyed working with patients to assist them with their mental health needs, as this is a part of overall optimal health. She provides patients with a holistic approach to managing their healthcare needs. She and her family lived in Southeast Asia for 5 years, and this allowed her to grow personally and increase her awareness of individual's unique family and cultural needs. She also feels that meeting patient's unique cultural needs is a critical part of helping people with their mental healthcare journey. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two children, husband, and dog. Her family has recently relocated from Texas to Massachusetts, and she enjoys exploring the New England area with her family. Her hobbies include traveling, learning about new cultures, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
