Heather Pomella is a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a specialized certification in Neuroscience and a Master’s in Nursing from Regis College. With over 10 years of experience in pediatric care, Heather is deeply committed to providing compassionate, holistic, and individualized care to children with complex medical and behavioral health needs.
Heather’s passion for pediatric neurology and behavioral health began early in her career, motivated by her desire to make a positive impact on children’s lives. She has worked in diverse settings, from primary care and home care to the inpatient Neuroscience unit at a world-renowned children’s hospital. These experiences have given her a unique skill set to treat children with a wide range of medical and emotional challenges.
As a mother of three young boys, Heather brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to her practice. She is dedicated to meeting each child where they are and tailoring care to their unique developmental and emotional needs. Heather strongly believes in a patient-centered approach, working collaboratively with families to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child.
Heather’s professional accomplishments include advocating for children with complex medical and behavioral needs and continuously advancing her knowledge in pediatric nursing and neuroscience to better support her patients.
