Mahnoor Aftab, LMHC
My name is Mahnoor Aftab, and I am a licensed mental health counselor. I graduated from the University of Connecticut (UConn) with a bachelor’s degree in allied health sciences followed by a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling with a concentration in Advanced Trauma Informed Counseling from Bay Path University (BPU). Following my graduation, I worked as an outpatient behavioral health clinician in an integrated healthcare system, Caring Health Center, for approximately 2.5 years where I also completed my internship. Additionally, I have also been an adjunct professor at BPU since 2023 where I currently teach Counselling and Co-occurring disorder and have previously taught Psychopathology.
Mahnoor Aftab’s ideal client is an individual contending with anxiety and depressive disorders, mood disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders, Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders, seeking compassionate and client-centered psychiatric care.
