Saumya Sharma, Ph.D
Dr. Sharma is a clinical neuropsychologist who received her doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology at Boston University. She completed her clinical internship in adult/geriatric neuropsychology at the Boston V.A. Medical Center. Her post-doctoral fellowship was completed at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Mass Mental Health Center in Boston and involved assessing adolescents and adults for ADHD, learning disabilities, and cognitive changes associated with concussion/traumatic brain injury, neurological/medical illness (dementia, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, brain tumors), and mood disorders.
Dr. Sharma works with primarily adolescents and adults. Her neuropsychological evaluations are treatment-focused and designed to identify neurocognitive strengths and relative weaknesses, and to determine the most appropriate ways to proceed at school, work and/or in daily living. She is also well-versed in assessments for IEP/504 Plan determination and academic and standardized test accommodations (SSAT/ISEE, ACT/SAT, GRE/MCAT/LSAT/GMAT, etc).
